A very good and strong impression of this rare print, printed evenly and sharply with delicate plate tone, all details crisp and clear, ample margins all around the platemark, in excellent condition.
The first state of the first edition published by Gerard de Jode. Before the address of Claes Jansz. Visscher and the numbering of the plates, and before the address of Jan Philipsz Schabaelje and addition of the sign of the zodiac in the sky.
