Lithograph printed in sanguine and pinkish tint on dark green simili-japon mounted on wove paper.
Plate 2 with the Star of Bethlehem (FR: Etoile du Matin) remarque, from the Suite de Paysages, a set of 8 prints, self-published by the artist.
Edition of 100, in 6 color variants.
Many of the suites have been damaged by exposure to humidity and are either lost of heavily foxed. Most of the suites have also been broken up and individual sheets sold loose. Complete suites in very good, unrestored condition, are extremely rare.
Created between June 1892 and April 1893.
Numbered “78” and signed in red crayon.
This lithograph was printed by Bellefond.

Overall very fine condition. Sheet trimmed about an inch on all sides, still with plenty left around the image. Loss of part of the bottom right sheet corner (see image).
