Schlafendes Madchen im Kornfield (Maiden Sleeping in the Cornfield)
A fine example of a very rare etching and drypoint by German Expressionist Max Beckmann, an edition of 50.
Titled lower left corner in pencil: Schlafendes Madchen im Kornfield. (Maiden Sleeping in the Cornfield).
Signed in pencil lower right. The print was created 1922, is matted in 4 ply museum mat and is unframed.
The image measures 7 1/8" H x 9 1/2" W. The paper size is: 10 1/2" H x 16 1/2" W. The mat is 16" H x 18" W.
The print is a very fine impression with large full margins. It is in very good condition except for a
small tear seen at center left margin well away from the image.
