Aquatint and soft-ground etching printed in color on wove paper.
Likely an edition of 50.
The dogs depicted are Braque Saint-Germain, of French origin, and which were popular in 19th century France. The breed was created by Charles Nicolas de Larminat in the king’s Compiègne kennels circa 1830.
