Hunt Slonem prepared a watercolor study that served as the principle substrate image for his series of five hand painted monoprints titled Fratillery, lettered A to E. The watercolor study was digitally captured and adjusted, after which five archival pigment prints were printed on archival Entrada Rag Natural 290, 100% cotton paper. The artist then hand painted each print using gouache and watercolor with variations from print to print. This is a rare series of unique works among Hunt Slonem's first monoprints combining pigment printing and hand painting. Each impression is signed by the artist in pencil and includes print documentation also signed by the artist.
