This blueprint for a commuter, with suspended wheels and pulleys, shows Mann's enjoyment playing with the mechanics and exposed workings of imagined machines. Especially machines that look like something from the industrial revolution, but poorly designed. Similar to steampunk, it is as if they might have once existed, but didn’t stand the test of time. It is also easy to see Mann's enjoyment of word play and visual puns in both his images and titles. This is a signed Artist Proof, and the last print available from an edition of 60.
