Inga-Britta Mills, Amer., (1925-2018), Carnevale. Color Etching and Aquatint, 1986, Ed. 8 of 8 plus a few AP's, 12 x 10, signed, titled dated and numbered in pencil, on thick buff wove paper. Inga Britta Mills explored the interactions of sumptuous color using both geometric and organic compositions as a stage, touching upon both nature and architecture as wellsprings for these explorations. She loved classical music, jazz and the aesthetic legacies of ancient Greece and Italy. Her gracious modern home was furnished with mid century furnishings and her world view influenced by work with Dag Hammerskjold at the UN. Marc Chabot fine Arts is pleased to represent a fine selection of these elegant and forceful prints.
