Inga-Britta Mills, Amer., (1925-2018), Study II, Color Etching and Aquatint, 1989, Ed. 5 of 8 plus a few AP's, 11-15/16 x 15-7/8, signed, titled, dated and numbered in pencil, on cream wove paper. In her numerous abstract etchings and monotypes Inga Britta Mills explored the interactions of sumptuous color using both geometric and organic compositions as a stage, touching upon both nature and architecture as wellsprings for these explorations. She loved classical music, jazz and the aesthetic legacies of ancient Greece and Italy. Her gracious modern home was furnished with mid century furnishings and her world view influenced by work with Dag Hammerskjold at the UN.
